INTRODUCTION
- At Derby Shine, the Sales Representative (SR) role is essential. A successful SR not only achieves targets but also goes above and beyond to meet our customers' needs. As the first point of contact, the SR sets the standard for the entire team.
PERSONAL SALES
- Quickly handle and complete all assigned leads.
- Actively seek out and generate 20-40 new leads each week.
- Consistently follow up with potential customers who are still deciding.
-Become proficient with our quoting system to create personalized quotes.
- Manage all communications and follow-ups related to personal quotes.
- Always present yourself professionally, be punctual, and courteous.
- Strive for a 55-60% close rate.
- Hit weekly sales goals; Acceptable: $2500 in sales. Good: $3750 in sales. Very Good: $4500 in sales. Excellent: $5500 in sales.
SALES MEETINGS AND TRAINING
- Prepare for and attend Admin Meetings with Owners to review key performance indicators (KPIs) and successes.
- Regularly review your sales metrics and KPIs to ensure targets are being met.
- Continuously improve your sales skills by studying effective sales tactics.
NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Focus on creating new relationships with potential clients and always look for new opportunities to showcase our top-notch services.
- Grow our customer base in areas where we already have clients.
OVERVIEW & PURPOSE
The primary role of a Field Technician is to be prepared and eager to work diligently while becoming proficient in assigned tasks. Efficiency in these tasks is crucial, as they form the core of daily responsibilities. A Field Technician is not simply a laborer but is expected to learn and grow towards eventually leading a team. As performance improves, a production bonus will be added to the Field Technician's hourly wage. Any review mentioning Technicians name are a bonus.
PRODUCTION
- Perform various tasks at the job site, including cleaning windows, gutters, screens, etc.
- Work with one or two other crew members.
- Follow the Lead Technician's instructions to maximize efficiency.
- Take initiative and be proactive both on and off the job site.
CUSTOMER RELATIONS
- Execute duties as expected to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with customers if approached, staying attentive during conversations.
- Address any service concerns with the Lead Technician before they have their final interaction with the customer.
OPERATIONS
- Assist the Lead Technician in loading and unloading the vehicle daily.
- Use Sheet to clock in and out at the correct times each day.
- Perform assigned duties at the shop or office weekly.

OVERVIEW & PURPOSE
To clearly outline the responsibilities and expectations associated with the Crew Leader position at Derby Shine.
INTRODUCTION
The Crew Leader position is a key role at Derby Shine. You are the glue that holds our job-site operations together. You are the customer's main contact between them and Derby Shine as a company. You set the standard in leadership, professionalism, and customer service that Field Technicians learn from. Crew Leaders set the tone each and every day for work ethic, exemplary customer service, and a detail-oriented approach on the job site.
PRODUCTION
- Efficiently operate a crew of 2-3, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Coordinate timely arrival to each job as scheduled and completion of all scheduled jobs each day.
- Coordinate appropriate load-out of work vehicle(s) each day.
- Offer customers the opportunity to have additional work done (when ahead of schedule).
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds the Derby Shine standard.
- Ensure that all customers are pleased with their service and that the Derby Shine standard was met.
- Initiate excellent response time and updates with customers when on the way and during the job.
- Ensure that all Field Technicians behave in a way that keeps the customer happy and comfortable.
- The Crew Leader is responsible for ongoing field training of all Field Technicians in their crew:
- Training in elite customer service
- Training in efficient field operations
- Training in personal accountability and a team-first approach to everything we do
OPERATIONS
- Report any lost or left-behind equipment to management, and ensure it is retrieved in a timely manner when possible.
- Ensure that all Derby Shine standard operating procedures are followed to the letter.
- Work with the Owner to complete the Vehicle Loadout as scheduled.
- Communicate with the Owner regarding scheduled jobs, job updates, customer communication, and any other relevant information. Management
- Supervise the activity of assigned Field Technicians
- Master the use of various software for recording information, scheduling, and communication
- Assist in ongoing field training for all Field Technicians as directed.
- Observe Field Technicians' performance in the field
